Dyrchefwch oll eich pen(n)au fry
Dyrchefwch oll eich pennau'n awr

Salm 24: RHAN II. (ad. 7—10.)
(Brenin y gogoniant)
Dyrchefwch oll eich pennau'n awr
  Chwi oesol ddrysau'r nef,
Can's Brenin y gogoniant mawr
  Sy'n dod yn ol i dref.

Brenin gogoniant! pwy yw Ef?
  Efe yw'r Arglwydd Dduw;
Ei fraich sydd nerthol, gadarn, gref,
  Mewn rhyfel cadarn yw.

Dyrchefwch oll eich pennau'n awr,
  Chwi oesol ddrysau'r nef,
Can's Brenin y gogoniant mawr
  Sy'n dod yn ol i dref.

Brenin gogoniant! pwy yw Ef?
  Jehofa'r lluoedd yw;
Mae'n haeddu holl ogoniant nef,
  Am gadw dynol ryw.

Dyrchefwch oll eich pennau fry,
  Chwi oesol ddrysau'r nef;
Gwir Frenhin y gogoniant sy
  Yn dod yn ol i dref.

Pwy yw y Brenin mawr ei fri?
  Yr unig Arglwydd byw;
Yr Arglwydd nerthol, cadarn, Ri,
  Mewn rhyfel cadarn yw.

Dyrchefwch oll eich pennau fry,
  Chwi oesol ddrysau'r nef;
Gwir Frenhin y gogoniant sy
  Yn dod yn ol i dref.

Pwy yw y Brenin mawr ei glod?
  Jehofa'r lluoedd yw;
Yn Frenhin byth mae'n haeddu bod,
  Am gadw dynol ryw.

Psalm 24: PART 2. (vv. 7-10)
(The King of glory)
Raise ye all your heads now
  Ye ancient doors of heaven,
Since the King of the great glory
  Is coming back to town.

The King of glory! Who is He?
  He is the Lord God;
His arm is powerful, firm, strong,
  In war firm is he.

Raise ye all your heads now,
  Ye ancient doors of heaven,
Since the King of the great glory
  Is coming back to town.

The King of glory! Who is He?
  Jehovah of the hosts is he;
He is deserving all the glory of heaven,
  For preserving human-kind.

               - - - - -

Raise ye all your heads up,
  Ye ancient doors of heaven,
The true King of glory is
  Coming back to town.

Who is the King of great renown?
  The only living Lord;
The Lord, steadfast, firm, Chief,
  In battle steadfast he is.

Raise ye all your heads up,
  Ye ancient doors of heaven;
The true King of glory is
  Coming back to town.

Who is the King of great acclaim?
  Jehovah of the hosts he is;
A King forever he deserves to be,
  For saving human kind.

PSAL. XXIV

 7 Erect your heads, eternal gates,
     unfold to entertain
   The King of Glory; see, he comes
     with his celestial train.

 8 Who is this King of glory? Who?
     The Lord for strength renowned;
   In battle mighty, o'er his foes
     eternal victor crowned.

 9 Erect your heads, ye gates, unfold
     in state to entertain
   The King of glory; see, he comes
     with all his shining train.

10 Who is this King of glory? who?
     The Lord of hosts renowned;
   Of glory he alone is king,
     who is with glory crowned.
